Tractor-Trailer Explosion Shuts Down Clifton, NJ, Highway

A firefighter narrowly escaped when the rig exploded Monday morning.

A tractor-trailer fire on a Clifton highway has resulted in evacuations and road closures.

There were reports of explosions at the incident on Route 3, abc7 reported. 

Video shows a firefighter was walking toward the fire when the rig exploded.

There were reports that a ladder truck was hit by debris that also damaged a sound wall and items in the yard of a nearby house.
